Dear Friends,

First, I would like to say thank you for honoring me by electing me to serve as your state representative for a second term. Compared to some districts across Indiana voters in House District 86 turned out in great numbers. There were over 22,000 ballots cast in our district—bravo! I cannot thank you enough for all the support you have given me throughout the campaign. I enjoyed conversing at front doors and biking the district. I also enjoyed the honest and professional courtesy my opponent expressed at every turn. We managed to stay on the issues that matter especially education.

As I have stated over the last few months I will continue to fight for the seven ideas I outlined from jobs and education to government reform and affordable healthcare. It is my commitment to you to work for the people of House District 86 and the great state of Indiana to increase the number of real jobs for Hoosiers, maintain and improve quality public education, operate a fiscally sound budget, outline a path for health insurance exchanges, and reform local government all with the aim of putting taxpayers first.

This upcoming legislative session will be a challenging one with one party control in the Statehouse, which is why we will all need to fight harder and work smarter.

Once again, I thank you and I promise to continue the good fight.
